Our bus and train route will take you around the must-see areas of this beautiful city, where the sea and the mountains are always a few steps away. San Sebastián boasts a great quality of life, world-famous gastronomy, beautiful architecture inspired by the French Belle Epoque at the end of the 19th century, as well as numerous gardens, parks, beaches and lively avenues. The tour on the Sightseeing Train lasts approximately 40 minutes and the Sightseeing Bus tour lasts approximately 1 hour.

Bus tour service and schedule

Low season: Departures at 10:30AM, 11:30AM, 12:30PM, 1:30PM, 3.3PM and 4:30PM.

• From January 1^st to 6^th.
• From January 11^th to March 10^th: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Except February 20^th.
• From November 4^th to 17^th: daily except November 10^th.
• From November 22^nd to December 15^th: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Except November 24^th.
• From December 20^th to 31^st: daily except December 22^nd.

Medium season: Daily departures at 10:30AM, 11:30AM, 12:30PM, 1:30PM, 3:30PM, 4:30PM and 5:30PM.

• From March 15^th to April 12^th.
• From April 24^th to June 30^th.
• From October 1^st to November 3^rd.

High season: Daily departures at 10:30AM, 11:00AM, 11:30AM, 12:00PM, 12:30PM, 01:00PM, 01:30PM, 03:00PM, 04:00PM, 05:00PM, 06:00PM and 07:00PM.

• From April 13^th to 23^rd.
• From July 1^st to 31^st.
• From September 1^st to 30^th.

Tourist train service and schedule

Low season: Departures every hour on selected days from 11.00AM to 06:00PM.

• From January 1^st to 6^th: daily.
• From January 12^th to March 10^th: Saturdays and Sundays.
• From November 4^th to 17^th: daily.
• From November 23^rd to December 15^th: Saturdays and Sundays.
• From December 20^th to 31^st: daily.

Medium season: Departures every hour from 11.00AM to 07:00PM

• From March 15^th to April 12^th.
• From April 24^th to June 30^th.
• From October 1^st to November 3^rd.

High season: Daily departures every 30 minutes from 10:30AM to 08:00PM.

• From April 13^th to 23^rd.
• From July 1^st to September 30^th.

Our double decker buses

Donostia-San Sebastián City Tour boasts a fleet of buses designed expressly for urban guided sightseeing tours. They travel at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Our buses have a canopy in case of rain, panoramic windows that provide easy visibility for all passengers and TFT screens with information about different places on the tour. 

The bus offers an individual multilingual audio guide in 8 languages: Basque, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Chinese.  

Each of our buses has the capacity for 67 people and a space adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Our tourist train

The vehicle, an articulated train with two carriages, has screens in case of rain, panoramic roofs in all carriages provide easy visibility for all passengers and TFT screens with information about different places on the tour and the various excursions that you can purchase from our Donostia-San Sebastián City Tour office. 

It travels at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Our train has the capacity for 54 people and a space adapted for people with reduced mobility.

The Donostia San Sebastián City Tour will take you to the most important sightseeing spots, from the Paseo Nuevo, home to the Aquarium, to the Plaza del Funicular, where you can visit Chillida’s famous sculpture “Peine del Viento” or climb to the top of Monte Igeldo and enjoy its theme park.
